Business Systems Analyst (Contract)
Provide analytical support for automated business systems, working under the direction of senior information technology professionals. Work closely with the business to develop reports, resolve issues and define requirements for enhancements or changes to systems. Perform analysis by gathering input from various teams and software vendors, and coordinate the planning and execution of testing. Perform a variety of professional level customer support activities which all relate to the support of the relevant business systems. Develop reports for various business needs. Perform system acceptance testing; writes and executes test scripts and analyzes results to ensure system integrity. Perform quality assurance of business system user documentation. Contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the department's service to its clients by offering suggestions and participating as an active member of the team. IT Systems Engineer (with Lotus Notes Experience)
A well known and well established New Hampshire Company is looking for an IT Systems Engineer to be responsible for IT infrastructure project management as well as performing hands-on support and maintenance of Windows servers and network appliances, such as switches, and routers. The candidate will also be responsible for issue investigation and resolution, and ensuring that the network environment is stable and viable at all times. The ideal candidate will have some significant lotus notes experience in their background. Primary Responsibilities Include: Project Management - Manage and complete various IT projects as assigned by the Manager of IT Engineering. These projects may include, new software and hardware evaluation, and infrastructure expansion. Maintaining and monitoring Network and Server Hardware and Software performance ensuring that efficiency, connectivity and availability are maintained at the highest levels at all times. Network Hardware and Software installation and upgrades. Primary point of contact for all network and connectivity issues. Supporting any network design projects, to guarantee maximum uptime during any and all changes. Act as a point of escalation for the internal help desk team. Required Skills: Support users and network services in Windows Server Systems (NT4, 2000, 2003) and Desktop systems (Windows XP). Thorough understanding of infrastructure services such as multiple Active Directory domains, DHCP, WINS, DNS, SMTP, and IIS. Experience with and a firm understanding of Lotus Notes. 5+ years enterprise computer software and hardware support experience. 5+ years enterprise network (including firewalls). Experience with large-scale networks and infrastructure. (100+ servers and 350+ locations). Ability to relate technical concepts to non-technical personnel. Bachelor's degree in computer science or business, or equivalent experience. Strong problem solving skills. Experience with Help Desk coordination and ticket handling. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Willing to be on-call to provide off-hour coverage. Ability to Multi-task and work independently. Discipline to meet time constraints and deadlines. Desired Knowledge: Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer Certification. Experience with the following technologies: Lotus Domino, Juniper Firewalls and SSL VPNs, Microsoft ISA server, Cisco routers, HP Procurve, Oracle 10g, MS SQL Server 2000 and 2005, CA Arcserve, Unix administration, Mac OS X
